Incredible Roz, another shared passion. Well, of course not at all incredible, just shows that we are kindered spirits. I have alot of blue and white china, most of it at our cabin. And the last couple of years I have started to mix it with "new" spring green china (just like the green background on this site). It is perfect, especially at Easter time. I will show photos after Easter holiday.

I love your fireplace. Are those blue tiles on the front?

Found myself here again this moring to see what you posted :-) Lovely pics of your blue and white collections. As you know I'm a collector of many things; unmatched old china pieces (nothing sets so pretty on a table), old jugs, antique garden tools, and my favorite collection is of gardening pots from years gone by...with a chip with a crack, from thumb pots to any size, from England, France, Italy, the USA, it doesn't matter. I have a real passion for them and can't help but to hold it and wonder, who was the gardener who planted this pot and what was planted in it, what was his.her nae, and what was their spirit and soul like. AND OH, oil lamps (a collection we have in common). Yes addicting, but what better a pleasure than to collect, and find something you love when you least expect it, to add to an existing collection making room for it to feel again it has a home.

Wow, wonderful photos. And you have a playhouse. I want a playhouse!

Roz, I love the photos that you accompany your posts with! Little pieces of Autumn Cottage, which I'd love to see in person some day. And I am in awe of the family history you have acquired...and envious of the photos you have of your ancestors.
