Roz, how nice to see your book here this morning when I came with a cuppa to see what of interest you wrote of this day. Yes, the book holds a page from the heart of each of us on your small list. However as I sat here after reading your entry, looking out on a gentle spring like rain, with temperatures this morning confirming it is still winter by the way, I thought of all the pages we have written over the years as friends. There were pages written that hold open the garden gate with a welcome to walk in, celebrations of births and birthdays, mournings of losses yet risen above to carry forever the joy and memories of when life was shared, vacation or holidays :-) as you call them across the pond, Christmas traditions shared, accomplishments and defeats...pages written from the heart with holes in them that will never mend (just understood), as well as pages from the heart that runneth over with joy... As the saying goes, you can pick your friends but not your family..I think we have hand picked frendships and turned them into a lovely family that we all like to be with. There is something so right when tears can turn to laughter, when we can be honest without fear of judgement, when we can disagree but with respect, and when we can dream each others dreams.

Roz, what fun to see our garden book when I peeked in here tonite to see what you were up to today. Carolyn, you always write so eloquently. And thanks to you, Roz, for the visit to Winchester. I may never get to England, but I enjoy visiting thru your words and pictures.

Delighted to see this Roz. It was definatley done as a group effort to express our love and appreciation to you.

Thanks to our "instigator" too, she had a terrific idea.

I love this book Roz. I hope to see it in "real" one day. A huge thank to Ardi for realizing the project.
