What a glorious picture you paint with your words Roz. If I close my eyes I can almost smell the air, and hear the bird song.
The long hazy days of summer await, and if Lissie is patient she will see an abundance of frogs I am sure. After a long winter the rebirth of all the plants and flowers is a miracle I will never take for granted. I so look forward to my first daffodils opening.
Thank you for the appetiser...

As always, love your garden photos. Too soon for gardening here, but I noticed the grass is starting to green up in areas.

Your summer house is adorable! What an inspiration --- may it provide you much pleasure as you write there throughtout the summer.

The pic of the enchanting summer house draws me into a dream world of fairies and frogs and flowers ready to bloom. I completly enjoy the tone of your blog.

Jeri Sue

I don't have any daffodils, but my iris are springing forth from the soil!! Your little summerhouse is everything I envisioned it would be when you first discussed its possiblities way back when...... I'm learning each day from you and Carolyn and others. I must follow-through with all my gardening plans because the results of yours are so wonderful. Thank you for sharing so much with us. Love and Hugs, JS

I would love to come

Oh lucky you!!!!

Not so here. Snow is still on the ground.

But my 'Garden Gnome' has his head above the snow cover, at last!!!

Spring has arrived here too Roz, at least for the time being. March can be an "iffy" month by the Bay.

That chair at the front of the garden house looks very inviting.

How lovely to have a warm day to sit in the sun and write. Our two kitties are just like Lissie - sprawled out on the deck, soaking up as much sun as they can. They know it isn't yet full spring here - there are more rains predicted. But for today, ah, for today there is gorgeous sunshine. Love seeing your summer house and would help wash those windows if I was there.

Lovely photos, your summerhouse looks so inviting. Bet you haven't been sitting in it this weekend though:) You seem to be enjoying your degree course, the Winchester pictures brought back some nice memories of last summer's travels.
