Here are the two Little Dears, staying very close today to "essential equipment" in case they should be caught short - well, one can never be too careful! (Click on image for larger version)
The two little dears now also have a name each - from Brigitte's suggestion, our Little Lady is now "Lily", whilst after my five year old niece's visit, the Little Chap is now called "Pippin"
A close second, "pipped" at the post, were the lovely names of "Oro" and "Argenta" - Gold and Silver in Italian, suggested by Diana, and I was also oh, so tempted by "Charles and Camilla".
Both babies are now happily galloping over most of Autumn Cottage - Lissie, meanwhile, sits aloft upon any vantage point she can find, and looks haughtily down upon them, with the occasional, half hearted hiss and growl - just because she thinks she ought to, not because there is any real malice in it. I suspect I might find them all eating from the same bowl in the not too distant future.
I leave you with Pippin, in training for being a Mouser, by "killing" both his felt toy and the nice, rustly piece of tissue paper by alternate attacks, ad infinitum. This sort of happy innocence is such a delight to see.
I love them. The names are great!
Tell Lissie to "get over it and get on with it." Ha!

Sweet :-)
I had a Pip once, not really a Pippin, he was more of a Pipsqueak - temporarily named because the Naming of Cats is a serious business, and I firmly believe that all cats come with their own names attached and it is up to us to discover them. It took about 30 seconds to discover his brother's name was Merlin, but little Pip's evaded me.
You still haven't told us which is the boy and which the girl!

I can't look at these darling pictures without getting weak in the knees.
Now I'm going to have to go around saying "We have a cat. We don't need kittens." to myself the rest of the day.

I love the names Lily and Pippin! (Well, of course I like the name Lily, since that's my mare's barn name.)

Roz, I don't know what to say, but I feel really honored! So I've got now a "god-kitten" in England! That's just wonderful! And you, Lily, listen: if you ever need something, I'm here for you! :-)

Hello from Sandy, Utah! Just found your site - hope to "visit" often. The fur-babies are adorable! I love, love, love the names! Makes me want to get a kitty - or 2 - myself! Not sure how Braxton, the ShihTzu, or Lulu, the Tibetan Spaniel would react, though!
Have a great weekend!

Morning Roz, seeing these pics sure makes it hard for me not to bring home that fat fluffy, gray longhaired kitten from work..but I have two cats and so today I will draw that line again and just play with him and love him when I;m at work. Lily and Pippen are adorable!

Lily and Pippin are lovely names however, they will always be Charles and Camilla to me. I look forward to seeing them grow up on your blog.. Karen
