Autumn is a wonderful time. Although I find it a little sad as I pull summer out of the garden it is also a time of promise. Those bags of leaves, like our compost bins contain the future life of our garden. Your photos are beautiful.

Lovely garden even as summer closes down and autumn opens the door. I'm glad to see you have a willing "helper".

Thanks for sharing your autumn with us! And I'm happy to read about your full life, your activities and plans... and even more happy to see that you've got such a busy and competent helper! :-)

Oh Roz,
Your garden is gorgeous - all seasons of the year. I put the leaves into the compost pile along with the kitchen scraps and grass clippings. It all works down into "gardener's gold" in a year or so. We have four bins made from chicken wire and I add to all of them, but use only one at a time. I wish I could stop in for tea and help you rake leaves. Or, better yet, come over and help rake ours!

Ah, now it really IS Autumn Cottage! :-) I see your leaf pile inspector is hard at work.

You probably won't remember me, but I was a member of your Yahoo Group for some months before it closed. (I won a small cross stitch kit from you for a trivia contest. ;-) I am just tickled to have found you still on the Internet, and have posted your link on my own blog. You have done lovely work here. :-)

Thought you should also know that I remember poor Oakleaf, who as far as I know, was not recovered after he went missing. I have a largish teddy bear that lives on the back of my sofa who currently "bears" the same name. It's the first name that kept coming to mind when I looked at him, and DH loves oak trees as well. :-) I hope you don't mind.

Have a great day!
