It's really a tough decision, garden or books? But for me books are a pleasure not work, so maybe the right answer is garden???

Leslie Garcia

...I have been anxiously awaiting your garden photos!!!! Britt- Arnhild's and Carolyn's too!
Thank you for taking the time to share the beauty of your day! Lissie is so precious and your statuary makes me want to go out and find something new to put in my garden. Enjoy your books...IN your garden!
Peace,
Leslie

Oh it is SO good to see you back in the blogging world. I've missed photos of your breathtaking garden.

In your last entry about decorating grave sites. I love it. It gives you an eye into the person departed and their loved ones. A good friend of mine died suddenly over 15 years ago. He was mexican american, so we had a Dia de los muertos party for him. I did a lot of research on the customs and I fell in love with it. I especially like that on the Day of the Dead (all souls day), families gather and have picnics at the gravesites of their loved ones. Quite an unusual scene of people laughing and children running around the cemetary having fun and eating together. I feel it is a wonderful way to reconnect to your lost loved ones and to bring the concept and reality of death more into the light of every day living.

So happy to find a new post (several) and that you are back. I know you are busy but I always enjoy your blog and the pictures of your lovely garden. I love the heaters just the way they are, but you should please yourself.

Thank you for these lovely photos!

I walk around the yard every morning too. And, like you, it has been a wonderful spring in the garden.

I'm so glad to read your most recent posts, I've missed your blog. Your garden looks wonderful and is such inspiration. I do some gardening but mine is much less artistically laid out than yours. I've started from a blank slate of grass yard. Maybe someday I'll get there...

Best wishes on your dissertation. I finished mine last year and can sympathize with how much time and energy it takes. What an interesting topic. I look forward to reading it when it becomes a book! :-)

I'll be looking forward to reading about your garden and your antique shop finds!

Warm wishes

Love your little garden house! I have been outside quite a bit too getting our garden ready, but the grass wants to take over! Flowers are always a joy to me. However, I would take a book outside to my new hammock area and be lazy if I could!

I came across your blog during a bit of procrastinating of my own : ) Your garden and lovely cottage is such a joy to look at! Thank you for sharing these pictures.
