A very sweet, sad story. Certainly the children are never forgotten...my motherinlaw lost a brother who drowned at about 10 years of age. His angelic character and untimely passing have never been forgotten by his surviving siblings. (My motherinlaw is now 81 and her mother lived to 104.)

What a touching story and how amazing that you found the information so soon after writing it. Indeed, all those who have passed before us influence us in some way.

A very emotive bit of writing - my grandmother told me a similar tale when poor little Billy died, her brother, she herself was only young but it stayed with her all her life - and she remembered him always - God's Blessings -
