Love this Roz!Your photos and descriptions make me feel like I am there in your lovely garden. I can almost smell the damp earth!Always love your references to the natural cycles.

I love hearing about your garden. As Jamie says, your blog makes me feel I'm there. And although your garden is so much more cared for than mine reading about it always inspires me rather than the reverse.

Just watched first two episodes of Downton here in the states. We were treated to a wonderful hour presentation about Highclere castle and the Carnarvon family. Much time was devoted to the BEAUTIFUL countryside scenes around the estate and surrounding acreage. Tribute was also given to the contributions of the locals in WWI reminding me of your post last year. I wanted to check in to see what you are doing in your special niche in that world and am delighted to see your herb garden on its way to spring rebirth. I am sure your lovely little cottage and garden will be just as charming and beautiful as any scene at Highclere. Much love from Dallas

It's rainy and cold here and your good work in the garden was a treat. Good job!
