Sending hugs and love to you and yours and thoughts for Pip - it is a really difficult time for humans who try to make some sense of connection and meaning through suffering love and mortality in their beloved furry companions - all the harder knowing that the ultimate question may be coming up at some point..... Pip hopefully is just being made to feel as well as can be - and is being surrounded with care and blessed by having a feline mind - not given to understanding or undue speculation xxx

Oh, sending good, good thoughts to you and Pip.

I'm coming to this late but am SO worried! I am thinking very good thoughts. xox

I am sending good thoughts from one cat lover to another. Love to both of you

Oh I'm so sorry you and Pip have come to this part of the road. And I do hope that all will be well with Pip. I came to this part of the journey with my Charlie -- my beautiful brown patch tabby Maine Coon -- a year & a half ago, so I know it well and it's not a happy place to be.

You are so right: I made the decision that was best for her, and my grief is as deep as any human bereavement has been. Cat lover that I am, I still have not been able to bring myself to even look at another cat. Time will change that I know, and one day my next cst will show up in my life, but for now ...

Sending love & white healing light to both you and Pip, with the hope that they result in miracles.

Sending good wishes to you and Pip. I agree animal bereavement can be every bit as strong, as human.

Every word you say resonates with me. Superb writing. So sorry for your pain and that of Pip.

How he's doing now?
