Oh can you imagine the dark rainy days and the church standing there waiting for people to come in and stay out of the cold? I'm sure many detectorists have been through those grounds finding treasures. I would love to go there, sit in solitude and prayer while knitting.


What a gorgeous church - and a great post, Roz! I adore wandering around village churches - always have - their deep peace, soothes the soul :)
