Domesticity does seem to rise to the surface at this time of the year. I feel it here, too. Leaves are turning and I've begun the autumn washing of the bedding and drying it on the last sunny days we will probably get for a while. Your churney looks wonderful - I save the marmalade jars if I'm putting things up. This year we ate all the plums and I didn't make one jar of jam. Sad, but won't whine about it any longer. But I do appreciate your little stash - it looks so pretty there in your pantry...just waiting for a winter's day when you can bring a touch of summer to a meal. Hugs.
