I too had a dog, though not a realistic one. His name was Droopy.

Toys from my childhood!
Great memory jogger - I am sure I had many! However 2 things sprang into mind as I read this post; a sailor doll purchased on board the Orcades as we shipped out to Australia; and my favourite Rupert Bear books!
Will conjure up a story of both!
